Commercial Laundry Equipment Sales Position COMPANY DESCRIPTION Garment Machinery Company of Cambridge, Massachusetts is one of the largest commercial laundry equipment distributorships in the state of Massachusetts. We distribute quality washer/extractors, dryers and ironers such as Wascomat, Hoffman, Whirlpool, and several other major brands. Our commercial customers include hotel/motels, resorts, assisted living facilities, correctional institutions, schools, and manufacturing facilities. We provide sales, installation, warranty and service support for our commercial laundry customers. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are seeking a full-time OPL (On Premise Laundry) equipment salesperson for our Cambridge office to cover a major part of New England. The job responsibilities include building relationships with new and existing customers, determining their equipment needs, providing bid proposals, and handling equipment sales from quotation to installation. A quota with a reward program is provided. Some sales traveling is required into smaller New England communities. QUALIFICATIONS Applicants must have two years experience selling capital equipment, a professional attitude, good communication and grammar skills, and a desire to succeed. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Our company is a Drug-free workplace.
